The Student Council is a vital feature of school life. It gives all students a voice as well as an opportunity to participate in the affairs of the school.
Rockford Manor recognises that students have a valuable contribution to make to the effectiveness of the school.
Student involvement in the operation of the school is itself a valuable part of the education process.
The Student Council gives students an opportunity to acquire the sort of communication, planning and organisational skills which will be of benefit to them in their future lives.
It enables students to take responsibility for projects, and to demonstrate that they can manage and bring such projects to a successful conclusion.
There are representatives from each year group on the council.
The Student Council meets regularly throughout the academic year to discuss ways to improve our school. The girls are keen to bring about changes which will have a positive impact on school life.
