TY Gaisce Camping Adventure
This week, our Transition Year students are setting off on their much-anticipated Gaisce camping trip – an overnight adventure that includes pitching tents, cooking outdoors, and a challenging hike up the mountains. They’ll be guided (and kept in good spirits!) by the very lucky trio of Ms Behan, Ms Gilheaney, and Ms Thornton.
While there’s a mix of excitement and nerves among the group, this trip is always a highlight of the TY programme. It’s a chance for students to bond as a year group, share new experiences, and create those all-important friendships, stories, and in-jokes that will stay with them long after TY is over.
We wish them the best of luck on their adventure – here’s to great memories and plenty of laughs along the way!
