Junior Cycle Results 2025 – The Day the Hall Shook! 🎉
It finally happened — the Junior Cycle Class of 2025 received their long-awaited results!
The morning started in a haze of nerves, excitement, and caffeine, with teachers doing their very best to “check in” on the students. “How are you feeling?” “Are you nervous?” “Excited?” — they meant well, of course, but by 11 a.m. the poor students were one well-intentioned question away from meltdown. The care was appreciated… eventually.
Luckily, Ms Rony saved the day. Instead of her usual Maths class, she decided that a few rounds of fun games and laughter were far better for calming nerves than long division. And she was right — for a while, at least!
Of course, most of the girls had been up since the crack of dawn. Results Day prep is serious business — hair, nails, lashes, tans — everything had to be perfect. By the time 12:30 p.m. finally arrived, they were already exhausted. (Thanks, Ms Kidney, for the wait — truly character-building stuff!)
Then came the big moment — the opening of the results. The Sports Hall buzzed with emotion, phones out, cameras rolling, and tears threatening to fall.
Mariya opened hers over the phone with Constança in France — her parents only found out later that evening (Constança clearly took priority!). Julie turned into a human firework, sprinting around the hall in a blur of joy and disbelief. Irsa, on the other hand, was completely frozen — someone had to remind her to breathe. Our international students looked on, wide-eyed, wondering what on earth this wild Irish ritual was all about!
Once the squeals quietened and the adrenaline faded, the newly crowned achievers marched off to Eddie Rockets for the most important part of the day — celebrating together. Because that’s what these girls do best: they show up for each other.
When asked what advice they’d give this year’s 3rd Years about Results Day, the answer was instant and unanimous:
“Friends.”
Because while the results matter, it’s the friendship, laughter, and shared memories that make the day unforgettable.
Congratulations to the Class of 2025 — you’ve made us proud (and slightly deaf)! 🎓🎉
