6th Year Visit to Nano Nagle Place – 25th September
On Wednesday, 25th September, our 6th Year students will set off on a very special trip to Nano Nagle Place in Cork City. This promises to be a memorable day filled with travel, talks, reflection, and of course, plenty of bonding as a year group.
Accompanying them on the journey will be a wonderful team of teachers: Ms Scarff, Ms Gallagher, their over-worked but amazing Dean Ms Knowles, and the one and only Ms Keane – our very own legacy-leaving Nano Ranger.
The story and legacy of Nano Nagle will no doubt leave a lasting impression on the students. As they prepare to take their next steps in life, the spirit of her motto, “Deeds, not words”, will be carried with them – a guiding reminder of the values that lie at the heart of Rockford Manor.
