Dear Members of the Rockford Manor School Community.
When the School closed on March 12th, all teaching staff issued work for students to follow and everyone quickly moved to distance learning platforms. Following the announcement yesterday by An Taoiseach, that schools will not re-open until April 20th at the earliest, it is now imperative that students engage with these platforms. Class work is progressing and there is a danger that your daughter will fall behind if they are not engaging with their teachers assignments. Notwithstanding, if your daughter is having difficulty accessing the material for any subject please permit her to seek clarification from classmates and, failing this, please email email@example.com with your concern. This is a new era for all concerned. Please read additional pdf material for full update, CEIST reflections and Advice for parents on home schooling.
The Rockford Manor School App allows Parents & Students to keep up-to-date with all school events, news, extra curricular activities and other information.
The app can be used to submit forms, make payments, access school reports and much more.

This week is Catholic Schools Week.
The theme for this year is “Catholic Schools: Living in harmony with God’s Creation”
This theme encourages us to see that we all have a responsibility to care for the earth, not just for our own future, but for the future of every one of God’s creatures.
During the week students will explore this theme in R.E. class.
Thoughts for each day will be displayed on the R.E. noticeboard.
The L.C.A. group raised €243.25 for the LAURA LYNN FOUNDATION through running a cake sale before Christmas. Ms. Daly sold school calendars and raised €80 for this fantastic charity. The LCA’s presented the cheque to Hugh O’Conor from the charity on Jan. 24th 2020.
