Rhythm of Rockford – a musical evening, was held on October 23rd.
The event was a great success all round, with some excellent performances.
The evening was organised by TYP students and showed what fantastic talent there is among student and staff in Rockford Manor. Acts included Indian and Irish dance, rap, singing and choral performance.
The night was very well supported with 376 tickets sold and €1,350 raised for the music department. Many thanks to all who supported the show. A big thank you also to Ms. Behan, Ms. Hennigan and Ms. O’Toole for all their hard work.
This years bonding trip with First Years and Sixth Years took place on September 2nd. The Sixth Years accompanied the new First Years on a trip between Greystones and Bray. The weather was kind and the trek was enjoyed by all.
The Sixth Years act as mentors or buddies for new first years.
