Board of Management

The Board of Management is responsible for the conduct, management and financial administration of the school in accordance with the ethos of the school and under the supervision and control of Ceist (Catholic Education An Irish Schools Trust) made up of the following orders: Daughters of Charity. Presentation Sisters. Sisters of the Christian Retreat. Sisters of Mercy. Missionaries of the Sacred Heart. 

The Board has 8 members and is made up as follows:

(i)    4 members nominated by the Trustees of the school.
(ii)   2 parents of students currently in the school, elected by parents.
(iii)   2 teachers representatives.

The Trustees appoint the Chairperson of the Board.

The Board meets, on average once a month during the school term from September to June. Additional ordinary and extraordinary Board meetings are convened as required.

The term of office of each member of the Board is 3 years and expires on the 15th day of October in the third year after the appointments were made.

All Board members act in a voluntary capacity.
